He is survived by: his wife Judy W. Ledet; his children, James Ledet Jr. (Christel), Freddie Ledet (Angel), Reggie Ledet (Holly) and Rene Toups (Melissa); his grandchildren, James III, Mia, Bryan Jr., Brent, Brittany, Jordan, Jimmy, Braden, Evelyn, Ashley, Lee, Roxy, Ruston, Renee, Trey and Arden; and his brother Melvin Ledet.
