He was predeceased by: his parents, Hervin Sr. Bruce and Eula M. Bruce; and his brothers, Johnny Bruce and Billy Joe Bruce. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Hebert (Cameron), Gerald Lewis and Hervin Bruce, III; and his siblings, William Bruce, Joanie Belinda Scace (Joel) and Loritta Dufrene (Pernell Sr.). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donation to offset funeral costs.
