He was predeceased by: his wife Mary L. Naquin; his stepson Lonnie Johns; his parents, Nelson Naquin and Scholastique Naquin; and his siblings, Wilbert Naquin, Felicie Naquin, Semonia Naquin and Rose Gaspard.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Donald Johns, David Johns, Sr., Lewis Johns, Sr., Cathy Herauf, Belinda Grover and Tammy Trosclair; and his brothers, Jesty, Harry and Russell Naquin. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
