He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Catherine Pellegrin Bouvier; his parents, Ernest Sr. Bouvier and Flavia Toups Bouvier; and his siblings, Roberta Bouvier Kiffe, Merlyn Bouvier Guidry and Curtis Bouvier.

He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Jerry" Bouvier (Nanette) and Catherine "Cathy" Bouvier Gunn (Mike); and his grandchildren, Caitlin Mary Gunn and Alaina Catherine Bouvier.
