It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith M. Burdine (Larose, Louisiana), who passed away on April 28, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Gus Houston McMahan and Dale Burdine; her parents, Monroe McMullen and Hettie Belle McMullen; and her siblings, Noah McMullen, Odell McMullen, Elvin McMullen, Ovon Brinkman, Adele Dannelley Lee and Elva McMullen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda McMahan Rodrigue (Lester Paul) and Evelyn McMahan Mudd; her daughter-in-law Beverly McMahan Smith; her stepson James McMahan; her grandchildren, Debbie Richoux (Dudley), Donna Paal (Thomas), Les Paul Rodrigue (Rachel), Charnell Peoples (Patrick), Larry, Ray and Jennie; her great grandchildren, Andre, Armand, Logan, Marcy, Courtney, Bethany, Kaitlyn, Kinley, Cody and Brinn; and her great great grandchild Sophia Brunet.
