He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonia Acosta and Armaine Arceneaux Acosta; his brother Clyde Sr.; and his grandson Robert Michael Acosta. He is survived by: his wife Doreda "Tootie" Gros Acosta; his sons, Kenneth (Celeste), Marty (Jeri) and Chad (Sheri); his granddaughters, Brittany Acosta Malone (Michael), Annaclaire and Madeline; and his siblings, Emery, Marvin, Ronald, Dale, Ruth and Beverly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
