She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Acosta; her parents, Noah Gros and Henrietta Bouvier Gros; her siblings, Noah J. Gros, Linwood "Pookie" Gros, Lilly Lagrange and Reba Lagrange; and her grandson Robert Michael Acosta.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Acosta (Celeste), Marty Acosta (Jeri) and Chad Acosta (Sheri); and her granddaughters, Brittany Acosta Malone (Michael), Anna Claire Acosta and Madeline Acosta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
