With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Joseph Guidry Sr. of Larose, Louisiana, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilciff Guidry and Della Guidry. He is survived by: his siblings, Wilfcliff Guidry Jr., Dale Guidry, Joseph Guidry, Kim Guidry and Marilyn Guidry Ledet; his great grandchild Harper Reese Guidry; his wife Audrey Cantrelle Guidry; his children, Paulette Redmond (Elliott Redmond), Annette Guidry, Amy Guidry Prather and Darrell Guidry Jr.; his grandchildren, Robbie Guidry (Naomi Guidry), Emily Dunbar, Alexandra Prather (Ryan Dufrene), Austin Dunbar and Phillip Prather; and his great grandchildren, Mason Guidry, Brielle Guidry and Thea Guidry.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Church (12911 E Main St, Larose, LA 70373). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
