We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2021, at the age of 88, Colton Peter Jenkins of Larose, Louisiana, born in Opelousas, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jenkins of Virginia; his parents, James Jenkins and Clara Taylor Jenkins; his children, Willie Jenkins, Sr., Elaine Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, Gerald Jenkins and Joanna Preston; and his siblings, George Jenkins, Jimmy Jenkins, Wilbert Jenkins, Mary Jenkins and Joyce Joseph.

He is survived by: his children, Dianna Jenkins, Emma Boyd, Linda Jenkins, Clara Pierre (Kermit), Elizabeth Jenkins (Alton), Tammy Jenkins, Russell Jenkins (Marrie) and Colton Jenkins (Faye); and his sister Wilma Joseph (Freddy). He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
