She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Matherne, Sr.; and her siblings, Nancy Mae Matherne and Ernest Matherne, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Cordes Authement (Christian); her mother Lorecia Creppel Matherne; her siblings, Diane Matherne and Johnny Matherne, Sr. (Dierdre); her granddaughter Ava Rivette; and her godchildren, Melissa Ramsey, Chad Sanchez and Jody Matherne.
