He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cheramie and Earline Foret Cheramie; his brother Peter Cheramie; and his father-in-law Thomas Roberson. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Roberson Cheramie; his children, Thomas Joseph Cheramie (Ashley Lafont) and Raeann Marie Cheramie (Justin Folse); his grandchildren, Brock Michael Cheramie, Brooklynn Michelle Folse and Josie Belle Folse; his siblings, Mona Kirby (Jimmy), David Cheramie (Christine), Rodney Cheramie (Debbie) and Alice Lee; his mother-in-law Ruth Morris; and his sisters-in-law, Gail Cheramie and Penni Black (Scott). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
