She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Songy, Sr.; her son Timothy Joseph Songy (Kim); her parents, Leopold Faucheux and Octavia Zeringue Faucheux; and her siblings, Lelia Tregre (Urbin), Aurore Verdin (Ed), Edgar Faucheux (Audrey), Therese Zeringue (William), Clancy Faucheux (Una Fay), Adline Keller (Ernest) and Daniel Faucheux (Dolores).
She is survived by: her children, Sonja Springer (Steve), Jona Songy and Joe Songy, Jr. (Julie); and her grandchildren, Rhett Emerson (Susan), Ryan Springer (Lauren), David Womax (Stormy), Dayne Womax (Vanessa), Chelsea Tamplain (Adam), Jarett Songy (Nicole), Luke Songy (Misty) and Gabrielle Songy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (529 W 5th St, Laplace, LA 70068). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
