It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tricia Lynn Cortez (Laplace, Louisiana), who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Jimmie, Clauzelle Woods, Richard, Gayle Cortez and Julia Virgadamo Cortez.

She is survived by: her former husband Thomas Grady Martin Jr.; her daughters, Hope Cortez and Julie Martin; her parents, Edward Cortez and Patricia Cortez; her siblings, Jamie Parker (Brian), David Cortez (Hali), Karen Stanley (Matthew) and Theresa Menard; and her nieces and nephews, Nathan Cortez, Harmony Cortez, Jude Parker, Reagan Stanley and Elle Parker. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
