With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Davis Jr. of Laplace, Louisiana, who passed away on October 18, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samual Davis, Sr. and Mildred August Davis; his sister Deborah Davis; and his great grandchild Haleigh Davis. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ann Ceaser; his daughter LaJuane L. Davis; his grandchildren, DeNaya, Derrion Davis, Dalaceia Small (Lorio) and Dervon Davis; his great grandchildren, Aiyannah, Madden, Aidyn, Baylee, Halo, Karter, Hailyn, Malani and Kari; his nieces and nephews, Catina D. Foster and Damon Davis; his brothers, Michael August (Altha), Ricky Davis (Brenda) and Darryl Davis, Sr. (April); and his close friends, John Green and Alfred Robertson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and 4 Godchildren.
