He was predeceased by: his wife Mary "Connie" Williams Blythe; and his daughter Tiffany Janine Blythe. He is survived by: his daughter Tara Lynn Blythe Waller; his grandchildren, Kailee Renee Simoneaux, Katelyn Elizabeth Rains, JayLynn Angelle Blythe and Zachary John Waller; his brothers, David Crockett Blythe, Jr., Bruce William Blythe and Brian Michael Blythe; and his pet Buddy Blythe.
