He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joseph Laviolette, Sr. and Genevieve Melancon Laviolette; his sister Hazel Dealey (late Ken); and his godson Michael Pitre. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Laviolette; his son Raymond J. "Ray" Laviolette, Jr. (Claudia); his grandchildren, Joshua Laviolette (Amber), Amanda Krennerich (Tim) and Jonathan Laviolette; his great grandchildren, Harley Jones, Elijah Krennerich, Oakleigh Krennerich and James Laviolette; his siblings, Erwin Laviolette (Merle), Mary Kirkland (late Henry), Rita Pitre (Armand) and Robert Laviolette, Jr. (Jeannette); his godchildren, Terry Gratia, Liz Durr, Sharon Dinet, Robert Laviolette, III and Damien Dinet; and his caregivers, Delores, Cynthia and Pat. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
