He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Plummer; his sisters, Sonya Gransberry and Odeal W. Richardson; his grandparents, Joe and Odeal Plummer; and also Joseph David Dee, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Corliss Dee Scott; his children, Nakia Scott (Colette), Brandi Scott, JaJuan Hickerson (Emanuel), JaLeesa Neal (Brandon) and Jerry Gair, Jr. (Tanganica); his mother-in-law Mary Ann Dee; his brother-in-law Joseph David Dee, Jr.; and his siblings, Janice Montague-Myles, Gregory Ford, Avery Wilson and Jonathan Williams (Windy). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Cemetery (1279 Paul Maillard Rd, Luling, LA 70070). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024.
