He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Jenkins, Sr. and Hattie Mae Davis; his siblings, Rebecca "Becky" Jenkins and Hiram Davis, Sr.; his grandparents, Hal and Commonia Maxon; and his son Tyrone Coleman.

He is survived by: his significant other Edith Coleman. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
