He is survived by: his children, Joseph Couty, Jr., Mark Couty (Sherri), Cynthia C. Webre (late Kevin) and Denton Couty (Vickie); his grandchildren, Ian Couty, Vicki Couty Millien, Bonnie Couty Bourgeois, Kevin Webre and Gary Webre; and his sister Ruby Barnett. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
