He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Harriet Gagneaux Miranda; his daughter Megan Miranda LaFontaine (Stephen); his grandsons, Liam and Luke LaFontaine; his parents, Audrey Guidry Miranda Friloux (Floyd) and Joseph A. "Rock" Miranda; his siblings, Deborah M. Weber, Dino M. Miranda (Anne) and Dennis P. Miranda (Michelle); his nieces and nephews, Robert Weber, Jr., Aimee W. Mulkey (Shane), Ashley M. Campo (Blake), Christen M. Gray (Thomas), Brandon Miranda and Justine Champagne; his great-nieces, Alyssa and Ainsley Mulkey; and his great-nephew Cason Campo.
