He was predeceased by: his father Gerald M. "Jay" Chenier; and his grandparents, Alma, Louis Chenier of Reserve, Louisiana, Inez and R. P. DeBate of Lutcher, Louisiana..
He is survived by: his wife Breniel; his daughters, Chloe Christina Chenier and Kayla Noel Chenier; his mother Laura DeBate Chenier; and his sisters, Joni Chenier Roussel (Robert) and Kristi Chenier Clement (Dale).
The family respectfully requests that due to Covid concerns, only family and close friends attend and that masks be worn inside of the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being taken by the immediate family to start an education fund for Chloe and Kayla.
