Gladys A. Oubre Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gladys A. Oubre of Laplace, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gladys A. Oubre to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Alexander and Alma Carter Alexander; her mother-in-law Mildred Legaux Oubre Weber; her siblings, Raymond Alexander and Elaine LaGrande; and her siblings-in-law, Dianne Alexander, Allen Lennix, Sr. and Raymond LaGrande.
She is survived by: her husband Rickey M. Oubre; her daughter Nylyn Rae Marie Oubre; her siblings, Myrtle Alexander Lennix, Curtis Alexander (Vicky) and Marshall Alexander, Jr. (Suezane); her siblings-in-law, JoAnn Perdue (Joe), Linda Oubre Johnson, Tally Weber Greene (Melvin) and James Sammy Oubre, Jr. (Carolyn); and her goddaughter Raven Symone'Simmons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:50 AM at the St Joan of Arc Catholic Church (529 W 5th St, Laplace, LA 70068). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:10 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 12:35 PM to 12:50 PM at the St Peter Catholic Church Cemetery (1550 LA-44, Reserve, LA 70084).
