It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Joseph King of Laplace, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William King and Dorothy Rembert King; and his brother William "Bill" King, Jr. (Jo). He is survived by: his wife Carol Bonnett King; his children, Frederick King, Jr. (Kimberly) and Michelle McDonald (Sean); his grandchildren, Christopher McDonald, Robert McDonald, Brandon McDonald, Ashlynn King, Luke Ducote and Sarah McDonald; and his siblings, Dottie Williams, Robert King (Priscilla) and Carolyn King. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lord Catholic Church (1900 Greenwood Dr, Laplace, LA 70068). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
