With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellene B. Womax of Laplace, Louisiana, born in Grosse Tete, Louisiana, who passed away on June 8, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul L. Womax; her son Dane Womax; her parents, George Booksh and Elma Granger Booksh; and her sister Winnie Wackwitz.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Rose (Don), Deborah Womax, Blythe Womax (Kelley) and Pamela Womax; her sibling Talma Gantt; her grandchildren, Blaine DuBose (Loretta), Cody Adam (Philip), Dayne Womax (Vanessa) and David Womax (Stormy); and her great grandchildren, Justin DuBose, Sophia Womax, Hailey Womax, Lucy Womax, Ellie and Preston Quijano. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
