He is survived by: his sisters, Althea Roberts (Claude) and Wilhelmina Simmons (Roosevelt); his godsons, Daniel Parquet and Kendric Matthews, Sr.; his cousin Gloria Stockman; his friend Russell, Sr.; his siblings, Stafford Augusta, Lester Davis, Evelina M. Robertson, Viola G. Sumler, Albertha S. Alford and Elouise Matthews; and his aunts and uncles, Wilbert, Oscar Augusta, Ellau, Lawrence, Cleveland Sheppard, Adlean A. Bethancourt, Blanche S. Foucher, Ethel S. Morris, Mecedes S. Fountain, Joyce S. Armant, Elnora S. Poche and Fabola Sheppard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church (433 Avondale Garden Rd, Westwego, LA 70094). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Restlawn Cemetery (3450 US-90, Avondale, LA 70094).
