She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Sedonia Melancon and Oliver Melancon; her parents, Clarence Charles and Daisy Charles; her siblings, Marie Johnson, Janice Jackson and Warren Eugene; her brother-in-law Leo Johnson; her niece Toy Foster; and her nephew Harold Farlough.
She is survived by: her husband Rogers "Raymond" Jackson; her children, Garen Jackson of Gramercy, LA and Leo "Michael" Perkins of San Antonio, Texas; her stepchildren, Resean Darrius Wells of Shreveport, LA and Dexter Jones of Kenner, LA; her siblings, Linda Clayton of Gramercy, LA and Bernell Charles of Reserve, LA.; her grandchildren, Garren Jackson and Kashton Jackson; and her goddaughter Jennifer Sylve.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (529 W 5th St, Laplace, LA 70068). A rosary was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
