He was predeceased by: his father John M. "Sonny" Snyder, Sr. of LaPlace, LA.; and his parents-in-law, Margaret C. Laurent, Kenneth Laurent and Calvin J. Catoire. He is survived by: his wife Patti C. Snyder; his children, Devin M. Snyder (Chelsey) and Courtney S. Istre (Jacob); his mother Mary L. Snyder Snyder,; his siblings, Susan S. Ross (Norman III), John M. Snyder, Jr. (Cheryl) and Bridget S. Salzman; his godchildren, Brittany L. Burton, Katie S. Massa, Michael Salzman and Brady Ross; and his nieces, Brandi C. Schnell and Ashley L. Crotty.
In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred. Donations in his honor can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Society.
