We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2024, at the age of 76, Daniel Frederic Packer Jr. of Laplace, Louisiana, born in Mobile, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel F. Packer, Sr. and Algie Ervin Packer; his sister Debra Packer Albright; and his former wife Carlene Banks Packer. He is survived by: his wife Catherine August Packer; and his children, Timothy Packer (Nicole), Vanice Packer Zenon (Alfred), Randall Ross (Natasha), Dr. Reginald Ross (Leslie) and Maria Ross-Burke. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
