She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Brown and Alberta Williams Brown of Montz; her husband Robert Shorts; and her sisters, Carolyn Ann Brown and Linda Rose Brown Augillard.
She is survived by: her son Tramane M. Shorts; her sister Mary Francis Brown Breaux of LaPlace; her brothers-in-law, Harold Lee Breaux, Olivier Augillard Sr. of LaPlace, Elbert Shorts and Cleveland; her nephew Joseph; her sister-in-law Lois Shorts; her godsons, Joseph Lee Williams of Montz and Nyron Breaux of LaPlace; and her friends, Audrey Williams Johnson, Betty Francis Collins and Gladys Banks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Patrick H. Sanders Funeral Home (605 Main St, Laplace, LA 70068).
