He is survived by: his wife Marie Tyler Smith of Reserve, Louisiana.; his daughter Shandrika Smith; his granddaughter McKayla Harris; his siblings, Susan of Kansas City, MO, Alvin (Sandra) of New Orleans, LA and William Jr. (Emma); his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Eugene (Charles) of LaPlace, LA, Gwen (Louis Martin), Edith Smith of San Antonio, TX, Hazel Metz of New Orleans, LA, Renee Norman of Gonzales, LA and Harold Fredericks of Plaquemine, LA; his uncle Melvin Craige; and his aunts, Julia Hall of Gonzales, LA, Cindy and Patricia Craige.
