She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Wayne Newton Sr.; and her parents, Richard Shelton Greer and Doris Walton Greer. She is survived by: her son Jay Johnson Jr. of Lake Providence; her daughter-in-law Crystal Gayle Johnson of Lake Providence; her daughter Lisa Smith of Oak Grove; her son-in-law Jeff Smith of Oak Grove; and her son Jim Newton Jr. of Oak Grove. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
