He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Brown and Willie S. Brown; his siblings, Troy Allen, Sr. and Betty Milton; his grandson Steven Smith, Jr.; and his great grandchild Cash Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Flo Brown of Lake Providence, LA; and his children, Kay Brown of Leaksville, MS, Maxie Brown, Jr. of Lake Providence, LA, Raymond Brown (Stephine) of Conway, AR, Stacy Smith of Lake Providence, LA, Steven Smith of Lake Providence, LA and Michelle Coleman (Scott) of Lake Providence, LA. He is also survived by grandchildren; 4-great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown-Holley Funeral Home (10324 LA-17, Oak Grove, LA 71263). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
