She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Joe Bagbey; her parents, Johnny Lee Lockard and Mamie Carter; and her sister Peggy Fulford. She is survived by: her son Richard; her daughter-in-law Tonya Bagbey of Monroe, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Cole Bagbey (Madison) of Monroe, Louisiana and Lacy Johnson (Jason) of Monroe, Louisiana; her great grandchildren, Mollie, Amelia, Landry, Brooks and Emerson; her nieces, Diane O'Neal of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Patti Shivers of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her brother-in-law Jesse Fulford of Transylvania, Louisiana; and her close friend Verna Hernandez of Lake Providence, Louisiana. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; numerous lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lake Providence (304 Davis St, Lake Providence, LA 71254). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
