He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ellis (Tamburo) and John Joseph Ellis; and his cousin Ginger. He is survived by: his sister Candy Ellis of West Monroe, Louisiana; his nephews, Dr. Michael (Kristi McCormick) of West Monroe, Louisiana and John Thomas Neel of New Orleans, Louisiana; his niece Candyce Neel of West Monroe, Louisiana; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mary Faith McCormick, Jack McCormick, Josh McCormick, Laurelle Neel, Ava Guerrero, Bella Guerrero and Evan Neel; his cousins, Gerald Wayne Bowers, John, Kathy Bowers, Tanner, Jasey Bowers, Alyssa Bowers, Dennis Tamburo and Billy Cone; and his close friends, James Harold Crews, Stacey Harlen and Tristan Harlen.
