He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hernandez of Clearwater, Florida; his daughter Melisa; his son-in-law Nick Turner of Stockbridge, Georgia; his children, Joseph Hernandez of Allen, Texas and Christina Hernandez of Monroe, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Britny Birmingham (Adler), Dakota Mercer (Bee), Ginna Moffet (Brock), Kayla Slayton (Zane), Dorian Hernandez (Brian), Mondrai Hogg, Jamin Hernandez, Edan Hernandez, Aeryn Hernandez and Islyn Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Pierce Birmingham, Cooper Moffett, Zander Slayton, Zayden Slayton, Aizen Mercer and Athalie Mercer; and his siblings, Sylvester Hernandez (Isabelle) of Tallulah, Louisiana, Mary Martinez (Roy) of Lott, Texas, Juan Hernandez of Monroe, Louisiana, Lydia Blades of Monroe, Louisiana and Martin Hernandez (Tiffany) of Tacoma, Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
