It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Augustine Rios of Lake Providence, Louisiana, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Rios; his son David Rios; his parents, Santiago Rios and Alvina Rios; and his siblings, Jessie Rios, Martin Rios, Lillie Ratcliff, Virginia Peterson, Mary Rios and Alice Fussell.
He is survived by: his daughter Theresa; his son-in-law Richard Chaput of Millbrook, Alabama; his son James; his daughter-in-law Mary Rios of Lake Providence, Louisiana; his daughters, Cynthia Rios of Lake Providence, Louisiana, Clydonnia Till of Mangham, Louisiana and Anita Rios of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his sister-in-law Shirley Rios of Monroe, Louisiana; his brother Raymond; his sister-in-law Clotine Rios of Goodwill, Louisiana; and his brother James Rios of Forest, Louisiana. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother.
