He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Holcomb and Rachel Holcomb. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Holcomb; his daughters, Traci Hickingbottom (Kris) and Olivia "Libby" Henry (Gil); and his grandsons, Tyler Hickingbottom, Grant Hickingbottom, Mason Hickingbottom, Joseph Henry and Grayson Henry.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Tom's church, University Baptist Church, in Lake Charles.
