She was predeceased by: her parents, Davis Gobert and Loney Gobert (Dise); her husband Abraham Simien; her sisters, Ella Papillion, Eltra Leblanc, Ann Jeffreys, Betty Lawson and MaryAnn Gobert; her godchildren, Yomika Guillory and Tony Papillion; and her friend Geraldine Spain.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Simien of Stafford, TX, Monica Lavine (Kevin) of Sulphur, LA and Erika Simien of Sulphur, LA; her siblings, Brenda Beilman (John) and John Gobert (Demi); her cousin Louanna Durousseau (Debbie Gobert); her godson Kevin Simien; her siblings-in-law, Majorie Labbe (Hayward), Emerick Simien (Brenda) and Albert Simien; her grandchildren, Chris Carroll II (Carolyn), Jeremy Carroll, Amanda Guillory (Jared), Kevin Lavine II, Jason Lavine, Ashley Lavine (Jens), Katelyn Morgan, Maison Morgan and Adrien Morgan; and her great grandchildren, Chris Carroll III, Sophia Carroll, Lydia Guillory of Jared, Guillory Jr., Josiah Lavine and Isabella Lavine. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and countless other relatives and friends.
