Stella Burris Brown Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2024, at the age of 94, Stella Burris Brown (Lake Charles, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker Burris and Kittye Burris; her husband Cecil Brown; her siblings, Marthella Zellers, Dorothy Jacobs, Juanita LaFleur, Mac Burris, Walker Burris and Clayton Burris; and her pet Bandy.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Ginger Brown Basone (Steve), Forrest Brown (Letha), Scott Brown (Krista), Terry Brown and Brent Brown (Sharon); and her siblings-in-law, Doris Burris and Harold LaFleur. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church of Lake Charles or the Alzheimer's Association.
