Though Stacy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stacy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Goodwin and Mae Willow Goodwin; and his brother Tracy Lynn Goodwin. He is survived by: his daughters, Whitney Albert III (Herbert) of Lake Charles, LA. and Mariah Goodwin (Kedrick Berry) of Lake Charles, LA.; his siblings, James Goodwin (Donna) of Sulphur, LA, Lori G. Harmon of Sulphur, LA, Nakia Johnson (Kristofer) of Westlake, LA. and Brenda Jones (Hayward); and his sister-in-law Allison E. Goodwin of Welsh, LA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, an aunt, an uncle, nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Combre Funeral Home (1200 Mill St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
