In loving memory of Shirley Shampine (Lake Charles, Louisiana), born in Gouverneur, New York, who departed this world on October 31, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth William and Fern Alta Klock; her husband George Shampine; her brother Kenneth Klock Jr.; and her grandchildren, Jay Hebert IV (Sterling), Maranda and Mandy Shampine.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sally McElhearn, San and Jim Hyde; her children, Candi Shampine, Dennis Shampine (Shannon), Rena Whetstine, Ronda Quayhagen, Robin Shampine and Rebecca Richard (Clay); and her grandchildren, Carrie, Dennis, Kristin, Haley, Aaron, Emma Shampine, Danielle Clouatre, Corlene, Christi Bowman, Johnette, Joshua Quayhagen, Dustin Zito, Carl, Brooklyn, Anthony Shampine, Darah Hebert and Lillian Richard. She is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
