She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ben Carter and Atha Lee Jackson Carter. She is survived by: her children, Renee Carter Roberts, Tina Carter Landry (Jason), Twaner Edmond, Kall Ray Carter Sr., Murphy Dejean and Kenneth Chalk; and her siblings, Nancy Carter, Wilford Carter Sr. of Eddie Carter, D. W, Terry Jackson, Tyrone Jackson and Darrell Dumont. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James Funeral Home (1801 Moeling St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
