She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Delafose and Audrey Gradney Delafose; and her sister Sheila Williams. She is survived by: her daughter Ajani Nicole Gurvin; her granddaughter Aniyah Nicole Walker of Woodstock, Georgia.; her siblings, Emray Delafose (Jocelyn "Joy") of Moss Bluff, Louisiana and Jackie Elaine Delafose (Karen) of Evergreen, Colorado; her nieces and nephews, Eric Delafose (Charlita) of Lake Charles, Derek Delafose (Sherrill) of Gonzales, Louisiana, Shawna Mitchell (Michael) of Houston, Joy Nicole Delafose of Yardley, Stephanie Etienne (Nino) of Killeen and Samantha Williams of Houston, Texas; her close friends, Tasha, Monica, Melanie, Regina and Delandra; and her former husband Eric Gurvin.
