It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sabrina Shafer of Lake Charles, Louisiana, born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lavelle and Mary Lee Ball Lee; and her nephew Ben Newton (Bo). She is survived by: her husband Ben Shafer, Sr.; her children, Brandi Shelton, Jennifer Griffin, Christopher Shafer and Benjamin Alan Shafer, Jr.; her grandmother Sabrina Griffin; her grandchildren, Ariel Haigler (Brad), Shelton Fontenot, Sabrina Griffin, Hayden Fontenot, Sammi Zaatrah, Adam Zaatrah, Leanna Delaney, Lydia Shafer and Beau Shafer; and her siblings, Donna Hamilton (Alton), Paula Wilcox (Dave) and David Lee (Tina). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
