He was predeceased by: his parents, William Colvin Lewis and Mary Catherine Hammonds Lewis; his brother Sexton Lewis; his mother-in-law Ida Mae Carr Simonelli; and his brothers-in-law, John Simonelli and Rusty Simonelli.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Simonelli Lewis of Lake Charles; his children, James Austin Aguirre of Nashville, TN and Layla Lewis Gallagher (Jim) of Lakeway, TX.; his grandchildren, Thomas Xavier Gallager, John Lewis, Kasey Lewis, Wade Lewis, William Lewis, Landon Lewis, Trenton Lewis, Christopher Kordsmeier and Katherine Kordsmeier Hampton; his great grandchildren, Rawson Lewis, Clayton Lewis, Hudson Lewis, Kaylee Hampton and Ella Kordsmeier; his brothers-in-law, Dennis Simonelli (Diane) of Minden, LA, Angelo Simonelli (Jamie) of Leesville, Dusty Simonelli of Leesville and Michael Simonelli (April) of Leesville; his niece Michelle Anderson; and his nephews, Michael Simonelli, Matthew Simonelli (Anna), Marty Goodner (Ashley) and Eastwood Pentecostal.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at 2501 Opelousas St, Lake Charles, LA 70601. A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
