He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Elijah Loftin and Luvenia Allen Loftin; and his siblings, Florence Dressler, Ruth McDaniel and Bernard Loftin.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Louise Stahl Loftin; his children, Chuck Loftin Jr. (Pam Riley Loftin) and Melissa Loftin Hardy (Blake Hardy); his granddaughters, Charla "Coley" Nicole Loftin and Emily Ruth Loftin Metoyer (Ronald Metoyer); his great grandchild Tim Savoie; and his sisters, Mary Donaho and Millie Franklin.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home - Moss Bluff (2171 US-171, Lake Charles, LA 70611). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Spring Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery (5200 LA-175, Pleasant Hill, LA 71065).
