It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Richard in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Donald Richard; her parents, Dallas Simon and Pearl Simon; her sister Bonnie Simon Broussard; and her nephews, Justin Duhon and Colby Broussard.
She is survived by: her children, Pauline Richard Greene of Lafayette and Martin C. Richard (Kimberly Jeffries Richard); her grandchildren, Lauren Claire Greene of New Orleans, Jenny Lynn Richard (Mike Carter) of Lake Charles, Averie Jolie Richard of Lake Charles and Kagnie Leday (Khaled Matarneh) of Baton Rouge; and her great grandchildren, Khiri and Kai Leday of Baton Rouge.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A rosary was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church (602 Church Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
