She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Baker and Charles "Charlie" Griggs; her husband Delbert Anderson Hamilton; her son Darrell Hamilton; and her siblings, Vincil Griggs, Paul Griggs, Charles Griggs and Marie Rodgers.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen "Steve" Hamilton (Cindy) and Mark Hamilton (Tina); her grandchildren, Todd (Rosalind), Chad, Jared (Allison), Brandon, Christine, Chelsea, Amber, Ashley (Luke), Brooke (Josh) and Autumn; and her great grandchildren, Jasmine, Sadie, Caleb, Max, Coy, Emery, Gracelyn, Chantem, Legend, Ayden, Kruz, Charlee, Demi, Scotti, Kayson and Beckham. She is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
