She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Marshall and Minerva LeBlanc Marshall; her sister Kathy Marshall; her father-in-law Percy Legendre, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Bridget Legendre Darlington.
She is survived by: her husband Reginald Legendre; her children, Marshall Richard and Katie Governale (Justin); her grandsons, Luke Governale and Ryan Governale; her siblings, Rick Marshall (Cindy), Renee Marshall and Susan Reed (Reggie); her nieces, Katherine Marshall, Allyson Littell (Doug) and Caitlyn Reed; her nephew Quinton Reed; her mother-in-law Elaine Legendre; and her siblings-in-law, Percy Legendre, III (Lynn), Andy Darlington (Rhonda), Lynette Eliser (Mark), Angie James (Colt), Natalie Harper (Tony), Elaine Curley (John), Lenore Charlton and Helen Bohan. She is also survived by her extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
As to Nancy's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
