It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myra Nadine Lawson (Lake Charles, Louisiana), who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sisters, Pauletta Lawson of Lake Charles, Sylvia Lawson-Landry of Houston and Ursula Lawson of Dallas; her parents, Amy and James Lawson; her grandparents, Amy, Edgar Mapps, Melvin and Edna Lawson; her brothers, Edgar C. Lawson Sr., Byron J. Lawson and Aubrey L. Gilmore; her sister-in-law Marilyn Lawson; and her nephew Dominic Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Stevens' Funeral Home (823 N Shattuck St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
